The rollout of the Affordable Care Act has left many confused in terms of how to apply for health insurance under the new law.

An Affordable Care Act information session, scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Oct. 7 at Sulzer Library, aims to demystify the process.

Experts will be on hand to walk attendees through the Illinois Health Insurance Marketplace, an online site where consumers can review and compare the various insurance plans available through the marketplace.

The meeting, which is free and open to all, will be held in Sulzer's auditorium, 4455 N. Lincoln Ave.
