As Vince Vaughn and Ben Stiller demonstrated, dodgeball is for grown-ups (or at least man-boys) too. Get in on the action at Chase Park's first-ever adult dodgeball tournament, 6-8:30 p.m., April 5, 4701 N. Ashland Ave.
Sixteen teams of 10 players each (five males, five females) will compete for the championship title. Register your team here. Cost is $15 per person or $150 per team. Individuals who want to compete but don't have a team will be assigned a spot the day of the event.
Spectators can enter for free; concessions will be sold by the park's advisory council. Proceeds will benefit the park's new fields fund.
