You know that flu shot you've been putting off? No more excuses. The 47th Ward's Health & Wellness Fair is not only offering free flu shots but a slew of other health screenings and wellness speakers from 9:30 a.m. - 2:30 pm. Oct. 26.
The fair is open to the public, including residents outside the 47th Ward.
Learn about volunteer opportunities in the neighborhood while you have yourself checked for diabetes, vision problems and more.
Organizers are asking that attendees consider donating personal care items such as soap, tissues, thermometers, toothbrushes, etc. that will be given to neighborhood food pantries.
The event will be held at Sulzer Library, 4455 N. Lincoln Ave.
