17th District Self-Defense Workshop

The Albany Park Police District is hosting a self-defense workshop for ages 13 and older from 10 a.m. to noon April 6 at Bosen Chicago Martial Arts and Fitness, 4224 W. Belmont.

Instructors will teach the basics of environmental awareness, dealing with confrontational situations and the psychological reactions that take place during attacks.

Attendees will take part in simulated exercises, so be sure to wear comfortable clothing.
