The 48th Ward's 13th Annual Senior Fair will be hosted Tuesday, April 9, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m at the Broadway Armory, 5917 N. Broadway.

This event provides access to health care and social service information for seniors, as well as entertainment and refreshments. More than 50 government agencies, businesses and nonprofits will be represented, including: AARP, Admiral on the Lake,  AT&T, Catholic Charities, Center on Halstead, Chicago Housing Authority, Chicago Police Department, Legal Assistance Foundation, Mather Edgewater People's Gas, Safer Pest Control Project, St. Francis Hospital and Weiss Hospital.

The Illinois Department of Transportation will be offering "yellow dots" to seniors who drive and want to have their medical information readily available to first responders in the case of an accident.

Admission is free.
