Two Lincoln Park Businesses Robbed At Gunpoint, Police Say

CHICAGO — Police are looking for a man who they believe robbed two Lincoln Park stores at gunpoint on consecutive Saturday mornings.

In both incidents, the man showed a handgun to a store employee then walked off with cigarettes and money from the register.

The incidents occurred in the 2500 block of North Clark Street on Oct. 21 at 5:06 a.m. and in the 2600 block of North Lincoln Avenue Saturday at 5:05 a.m.

The man is described as being black, 28 to 39 years old, 5-foot-4 to 5-foot-9 and 210 pounds. He has a black beard. During the incidents he was wearing a gray-hooded sweatshirt with black pants and a black jacket with white writing on the front and back.
