I-57 Crash Between Car And Semi Kills 3, Injures 1

CHICAGO — Three people are dead and one is injured after a car crashed with a semi on I-57 early Saturday morning.

The incident occurred in the northbound lanes near 107th Street at 3:15 a.m., police said. 

Chicago fire officials said a man and a woman, both 19, were pronounced dead at the scene.

They were identified by the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office as Julius J. Green, of the 11600 block of South Ada Street, and Precious M. Horace, of the 9100 block of South Eggleston Avenue.

Two men, ages 21 and 30, were taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center. The younger man died, state police said.

He was identified as Monteene D. Taylor of the 7800 block of South Jeffery Boulevard. 

They were all in the car, while the semi driver was uninjured, state police said.
