CHICAGO — A 20-year-old man was shot in Portage Park early Saturday morning, police said.
The shooting occurred in the 5800 block of West Waveland Avenue at 3:47 a.m., police said.
The man was shot multiple times in his chest as well as his abdomen, back, arm and buttocks. He was dropped off at Community First Hospital before being taken in critical condition to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center.
Police said the incident may have been gang-related.
No one is in custody.
