CHICAGO — A 29-year-man was shot when he tried to grab a gun from an armed robber in Rogers Park early Friday morning.
The incident occurred at 1:17 a.m. in the 7500 block of North Wolcott Avenue.
The man was walking outside when the robber approached with a handgun. The two struggled over the gun and the man was shot in his hand.
He was taken to St. Francis Hospital.
No one is in custody.
