MORGAN PARK — Michael McDermott will be the frontman for a Bruce Springsteen tribute show set to take the stage at 8 p.m. Saturday at the Beverly Arts Center.

The "Halloweensteen" show will see McDermott perform with The Duke Street Kings at 2407 W. 111th St. Tickets cost $30 or $27 for members of the center.

The performance is described as "a party-like sing- along that pays tribute to The Boss in his own original and personal style."

McDermott burst onto the scene in 1991 with his "620 W. Surf" album. His original music, songs and performances have often been compared to Springsteen, according to concert promoters.
