CHICAGO — A car with two young children inside was stolen Sunday morning when a newspaper deliveryman left it running in Jefferson Park, police said.
The incident occurred in the 5400 block of North Lovejoy Avenue shortly after 8 a.m.
The man was delivering newspapers, and two people stole the car with his two kids, ages 1 and 4, inside.
The car was found blocks away with the kids unharmed. The two people who stole the car are in custody, police said.
The children were taken to Resurrection Hospital as a precaution.
