Panel Vans Being Stolen In Mount Greenwood, Police Say

MOUNT GREENWOOD — Commercial panel vans are being stolen in Mount Greenwood, according to the Chicago Police Department.

Police in the Morgan Park District issued a community alert after several of the vehicles were stolen while parked on the street.

The thefts occurred:

• Between 8 p.m. Oct. 8 and 5:30 a.m. Oct. 9 in the 10700 block of South Albany Avenue

• Between 3:45-8:50 a.m. Monday in the 11200 block of South Homan Avenue

• Between 8 p.m. Sunday and 6 a.m. Monday in the 10400 block of South St. Louis Avenue

Anyone with additional information about the thefts is asked to call detectives at 312-747-8273.
