LAKEVIEW — The restaurant Entente, at 3056 N. Lincoln Ave., was awarded a Michelin star on Friday in Michelin's 2018 guide.

Owner Ty Fujimura opened the casual fine dining spot one year ago and assembled a team featuring Chef Brian Fisher.

"Of course it's an exciting day," Fujimura said. "It's great for the restaurant and great for Chicago. [Chef Fisher] has worked very hard, and I'm certainly excited for him to be validated like this."

Entente is open 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Tuesdays through Thursdays and 5 p.m. to midnight on Fridays and Saturdays.

"Every lover of food should lock this address into his or her GPS. Entente is the complete package, presenting downright delicious food, a robust wine-beer-cocktail program ... and whip-smart, engaging service" wrote Phil Vettel in the Tribune.

Reader reviewer Mike Sula said Entente offers "audacious, compelling cooking."

The full list of Chicago restaurants honored with stars in the upcoming Michelin Guide 2018 was revealed Friday afternoon.
