DOWNTOWN — You might want to make some outdoor plans for the weekend: It'll be unseasonably warm.
The normal high temperature for this time of year in Chicago is in the low 50s, said Charles Mott, a National Weather Service meteorologist. But this weekend will see temperatures in the upper 70s and 60s.
Friday will be dry and mostly sunny during the day, Mott said. Temperatures are expected to hit the mid- to upper 70s.
Saturday will see temperatures fall to the mid-70s, and there will be a chance of rain in the late evening into the morning. Sunday could see light rain during the day, and temperatures will cool off to the more typical mid-50s.
