CHICAGO — Shootings left seven people, including a 15-year-old boy, wounded on Monday.

• At 11:50 p.m. Monday, a 29-year-old man was shot in Chatham, police said. The man was walking on the sidewalk in the 8000 block of South Ingleside Avenue when someone in a blue Buick fired shots.

The man was hit in his left leg. He took himself to Jackson Park Hospital, where his condition was not available but he was listed as "stable," police said.

• At 11:30 p.m., a 15-year-old boy was shot in Garfield Park, police said. The boy was walking on the sidewalk in the 3400 block of West Huron Street when he heard shots and felt pain.

The boy was hit in his right ankle. He took himself to Norwegian American Hospital, where his condition was not available but he was listed as "stable," police said.

• At 8:50 p.m., a 19-year-old man was shot in Austin, police said. The man was in the 200 block of North Mason Avenue when he was shot in his head.

The man was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital. Police originally said the man had died, but later said the man had been revived and was in critical condition.

• At 7:15 p.m., a 25-year-old man was shot in Portage Park.

• At 5:58 p.m., a 28-year-old man was shot in Garfield Park, police said. The man was in the 4700 block of West Lake Street when he was shot in his left arm.

The man was taken to Stroger Hospital, where he was in good condition, police said.

The shooting was possibly gang-related, a police source said.

• At 3:06 p.m., a 19-year-old man was shot in Austin, police said. The man was walking in the 5900 block of West Madison Street when he realized he'd been hit by gunfire and he ran away.

The man was shot in his buttocks and he was taken to Stroger Hospital in good condition, police said.

• At 3:01 p.m., a 20-year-old woman was shot in Austin, police said. The woman was in the 700 block of North Pine Avenue when someone in a dark blue SUV fired shots.

The woman was hit in her upper body and she was taken to Stroger Hospital in good condition, police said.

No one was in custody in these shootings.
