Woman Kidnapped, Raped On Southeast Side, Police Say

CHICAGO — A woman was kidnapped and sexually assaulted on the Southeast Side Thursday, police said.

At 11:20 p.m., the woman was in the 10500 block of South Ewing Avenue when a man kidnapped her, according to a Chicago Police community alert. The man took the woman to another place, raped her and then drove her to 106th Street and South Ewing Avenue and let her go.

The man was Latino, 20-30 years old, 5-foot-8 to 5-foot-11 with a medium build, police said. He had a slight beard, fake gold teeth and wore black clothing.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call police at 312-747-8271.
