CHICAGO — A shooting in Auburn Gresham left two teens dead late Saturday, police said.
At 10:24 p.m., a 17-year-old and 19-year-old man were sitting in a parked van in the 8900 block of South Union Avenue when someone in a gray car drove by and fired shots at them, police said.
Both victims were hit multiple times. They were pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
Justin Gilbert, 19, of the 9000 block of South Union Avenue, was pronounced dead at 10:39 p.m., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office. Trevai Ridgell, 17, of the 9000 block of South Union Avenue, was pronounced dead at 10:22 p.m.
No one was in custody.
