CHICAGO — Police issued a community alert after thieves smashed a display case in a jewelry store on the Magnificent Mile and stole high-end watches.
The incident occurred n the 800 block of North Michigan Avenue, police said. The thieves then drove off in a gold Jeep Cherokee.
They were described as black men between ages 20-25, standing 5-foot-10 to 6 feet tall and weighing about 165 pounds. One wore a distinctive black jacket with multiple military patches.
