4 People Attacked, Robbed Northwestern Student In Streeterville, Police Say

CHICAGO — Police have released photos of four people that they say attacked and robbed a man in Streeterville on Sunday night.

About 8 p.m., the victim was walking in the 700 block of North Fairbanks Court when a group of people came up to him and one of them punched him in the face, knocking him to the ground, police said.

The group pummeled the man's head and body until he gave them his cellphone password and laptop, police said.

The victim, a law student at Northwestern, was on his way to a birthday party before the robbery, according to NBC5.

The attackers were described as black men between 20 and 23 years old and 5-foot-8 to 6 feet tall and a black woman between 20 and 23 years old, standing 5-foot-8 to 6 feet tall, police said.
