ENGLEWOOD — A Lucky Day Lotto ticket sold at a Mobil gas station at 5500 S. Wells St. won a $550,000 prize in Wednesday's drawing.
The winning ticket matched all five numbers — 09, 17, 34, 37 and 42.
The Illinois Lottery urges the winner to immediately sign the back of the ticket and keep it in a safe place until he or she visits one of the lottery’s five prize centers in Chicago, Des Plaines, Rockford, Springfield or Fairview Heights. The winner has a year from the drawing date to claim the prize.
The retailer will receive a bonus of $5,500, or 1 percent of the prize amount, for selling the winning ticket.
