CHICAGO — A 32-year-old man was shot as he stood in a park in West Humboldt Park late Sunday, police said.
At 10:03 p.m., the man was standing in Kedvale Park in the 4100 block of West Hirsch Street when he heard shots and felt pain, police said.
The man was hit in his face and he was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in critical condition, police said.
The shooting was possibly gang-related, a police source said.
No one was in custody.
