Chinatown Shooting Wounds Man Sitting In Car

CHICAGO — A 25-year-old man was shot in Chinatown early Sunday, police said.

At 2:32 a.m., the man was sitting in a parked car in the 1900 block of South Wentworth Avenue when someone got out of a black SUV and fired shots at him, police said.

The man was hit in his right side and right hip. He was taken to Northwestern Hospital, where his condition was not available but he was listed as "stable," police said.

No one was in custody.
