CHICAGO — Leaders and supporters of Filament Theatre, 4041 N. Milwaukee Ave., will come together Saturday for an interactive show and banquet celebrating the drama company's 10th anniversary and third year in the Six Corners Shopping District, they announced.

Starting at 7:30 p.m., the theater ensemble will perform snippets from seven plays it's produced as a way of "telling stories of how the company has evolved from the beginning," managing director Christian Libonati said.

The performances will unfold all around guests while they're eating dinner supplied by nearby restaurants like Community Tavern, BRGRBelly and Gale Street Inn, Libonati said.

A decade after Libonati co-founded the theater with Julie Ritchey, the partners have sharpened their mission to "connect with the child within and inspire that creative part in everyone," he said.

"Today, that's manifest in an immersive and adventurous style for young people and the communities around them," Libonati said. "The mission ... has really crystallized around developing theater for adventurous, exciting, creative experiences they can take and learn from."

Tickets to the fundraiser cost $50 each. They can be bought online or by phone at 773-270-1660.
