CHICAGO — A 27-year-old man was shot in West Humboldt Park late Monday, police said.
At 10:48 p.m., the man was standing on the front porch in the 1200 block of North Springfield Avenue when someone walked out of a gangway and fired shots, police said.
The man was hit in his back and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital. His condition was not available but he was listed as "stable," police said.
The shooting was possibly gang-related, a police source said.
No one was in custody.
