CHICAGO — A 30-year-old man was shot in Bridgeport early Sunday, police said.
At 3:52 a.m., the man was in the 3100 block of South Aberdeen Street when he was shot in his abdomen and left leg, police said.
The man took himself to Mercy Hospital and he was transferred to Stroger Hospital in serious condition, police said.
No one was in custody.
The man would not tell officers how the shooting occurred, a police source said, and no further information was immediately available.
