CHICAGO — A man raped a woman in Lakeview early Friday, police said.
At 4:10 a.m., the woman was in the 1000 block of West Dakin Street when someone came up to her from behind and forced her into a home, police said. The man sexually assaulted the woman and then ran off.
The woman was taken to Thorek Hospital, police said.
No one was in custody.
Police describe the attacker as a black man who is 25 to 35 years old. He has a medium complexion and a tattoo on the right side of his neck. He was wearing a gray sweatshirt with jeans during the incident.
