$200,000 Winning Lotto Ticket Sold At 47th And Halsted

By Kelly Bauer | September 29, 2017 10:23am

CHICAGO — A winning lotto ticket for $200,000 was sold on the South Side this week, according to the Illinois Lottery.

The ticket for the Lucky Day Lotto was sold Thursday night at Fairplay Finer Foods, 4640 S. Halsted St., according to an Illinois Lottery news release. The Quick Pick ticket matched all five numbers — 7-13-23-35-39 — meaning the buyer can claim a $200,000 prize.

The winner has up to a year to turn in the ticket and claim the prize.

The buyer should sign the back of the ticket and safely store it until he or she visits a Prize Center — there's one at 100 W. Randolph St. — to get the prize, according to the Illinois Lottery.

Just several months ago, a $350,000 lotto ticket was sold in the Loop.
