DOWNTOWN — Get your fall activities in soon: More warm weather is coming Chicago's way.
Temperatures have fallen to the 60s and 70s since a week-long wave of record-breaking, 90-degree weather. That cooler weather will continue this weekend, said Charles Mott, a National Weather Service meteorologist.
Temperatures will stick around the upper 60s on Friday, Mott said. They'll fall to the mid-60s on Saturday and jump back up to about 70 degrees Sunday.
After that, though, the warm weather will try for a comeback: Monday is predicted to hit the 80s, Mott said.
"That's going to start a string of 80s," Mott said.
Tuesday will see temperatures in the mid-80s and Wednesday has an expected high temperature of 84 degrees, Mott said. Thursday should be a bit cooler with temperatures in the upper 70s.
