LAKEVIEW — Foursided is one of the most unique places in Lakeview to buy cards, stationery and home decor. Starting next month, you won't even need to leave your house to experience the treasures inside this local gem.
The shop is rolling out the Foursided Mystery Box, a curated collection of its greeting cards, gifts and seasonal items that you can sign up to receive once or four times throughout the upcoming year.
Foursided Creative Lead Adie Janci came up with the idea after noticing how successful the store's $5 grab bags have become.
"People love our grab bags and buying collections of things from the store," Janci said. "People have shown us that they're willing to trust us."
A single-box purchase costs $29 and ships out in October, and a year subscription of four boxes (October, December, March and June) costs $100. Shipping is included in these prices, and each box will contain more than $45 worth of goodies.
If you want to receive the "spooky" October box, the deadline to sign up is Saturday, as shipment of the first box begins next week. But you can sign up for a single box or yearlong subscription at any point throughout the year to receive the upcoming seasonal mystery box.
Foursided has two Lakeview locations, at 2958 N. Clark St. and 2939 N. Broadway, and an Uptown location, at 5061 N. Clark St. In addition to stationery, gifts and home decor, it offers custom matting and framing services.
