Christopher Hardrick, 28, Killed In West Englewood Shooting

CHICAGO — A 28-year-old man was shot to death in West Englewood early Tuesday, police said.

At 2:37 a.m., officers went to the 6600 block of South Oakley Avenue for a call of a person shot and found the man lying on the ground, police said. The man was unresponsive and had been shot in his head.

Christopher Hardrick, of the 6400 block of South Claremont, was pronounced dead at 3:13 a.m., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office. An autopsy showed he died from multiple gunshot wounds in a homicide.

No one was in custody.
