CHICAGO — Two Downtown apartments have been broken into recently, police said.

The burglar or burglars broke door knobs and locks to apartments and forced open doors to get inside while the residents were out, according to a Chicago Police community alert.

The break-ins occurred:

• 10:30 p.m. Wednesday in the 1100 block of South Delano Court East

No description of the burglar or burglars was immediately available.
