In each of the incidents, two men approached the victims walking on the sidewalk, showed a handgun and demanded property, according to officers in the Lincoln District. However, police said all three attacks were not committed by the same people.

The second incident occurred around 10 p.m. in the 1400 block of West Catalpa Avenue and the third incident occurred about ten minutes later in the 1400 West Berwyn Avenue, police said.

In those incidents, the robbers were described as two Hispanic men between the ages of 19 and 21 and each about 5-foot-8, police said. One of the men weighs about 130 pounds while the other weighs 200, police said.
