CHICAGO — Burglars broke into six seasonal food shacks near the lakefront or in Grant Park in August and September, police reported Saturday. 

In the incidents, burglars pulled open the wooden window frames or broke out window panes or glass doors to gain access and then stole from snack shacks Downtown and in the South Loop, police said. 

The incidents occurred: 

• at 1:28 a.m. Aug. 29 in the 500 block of South Lake Shore Drive 

• at 10 p.m. Aug. 29 in the 300 block of South Columbus Drive 

• between 10 p.m.-1:46 a.m. Aug. 29 or Aug. 30 in the 500 block of South Lake Shore Drive 

• at 10 p.m. Sept. 3 in the 1200 block of South Lake Shore Drive 

• at 2:31 a.m. Sept. 19 in the 300 block of South Columbus Drive 

• at 8 p.m. Sept. 19 in the 1400 block of South Lake Shore Drive
