McKinley Park Shooting Leaves Man Hospitalized

CHICAGO — A 26-year-old man was shot in McKinley Park early Sunday, police said.

At 12:38 a.m., the man was standing in the 1600 block of West 36th Street when someone in a black van fired shots, police said.

The man was hit in his groin and taken to Mount Sinai Hospital. His condition was not available but he was listed as "stable," police said.

No one was in custody.
