ROGERS PARK — Despite the warm weather, fall is officially kicking off in Rogers Park this weekend with the annual Harvest Festival on Howard Street.
From 1-4 p.m. Saturday, residents can head to Willye B. White Park, 1610 W. Howard St., to partake in the free fest, which includes hayrides, a pumpkin patch, inflatables for jumping, a scavenger hunt and more. Organizers ask that children be accompanied by an adult.
Live entertainment and refreshments will also be provided.
In past years, the festival has offered fun children's activities like face painting, jugglers and balloon artists and drawn dozens of families from throughout the neighborhood.
