BEVERLY — Free flu shots will be available from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Sunday in the 19th Ward office at 10402 S. Western Ave.

The shots will be administered by staff from the Chicago Department of Public Health. Children receiving the shots must be at least 6 months old.

No appointment is necessary, and vaccinations are provided on a first-come, first-served basis. In previous years, the office dispensed all 300 flu shots that were available via the free clinic.

The event is hosted by Ald. Matt O'Shea (19th), state Sen. Bill Cunningham (D-Chicago) and state Rep. Fran Hurley (D-Chicago). For more information, call the 19th Ward office at 773-238-8766.
