CHICAGO — The Cook County Sheriff's Office is seeking help identifying a rape suspect.

According to Sheriff Tom Dart, a 44-year-old woman was kidnapped about 2:30 a.m. Sept. 12 near 108th Street and Michigan Avenue in Roseland and brought to south suburban Country Club Hills, where she was raped.

After the attack, the suspect pushed the victim out of his car and left her alone near 171st Street and Cicero Avenue, the sheriff's office said. A passerby called 911.

Dart's office released a drawing of the rapist Monday. He is described as a black man with a medium build and long dreadlocks. He is believed to be 5-foot-5 or 5-foot-6 inches tall.

Anyone with information is asked to call 708-865-4896 or 847-635-1188.
