CHICAGO — Shootings have killed one person and wounded five others since Monday, police said.

• At 11:34 p.m. Monday, a 28-year-old man was shot and killed in Bridgeport.

In non-fatal shootings:

• At 2:20 a.m. Tuesday, a 24-year-old man was shot in Little Village, police said. The man was sitting in a parked car in the 2100 block of South Western Avenue when someone in a silver-colored car fired shots at him.

The man was hit in his back and left hip. He was taken to Stroger Hospital, where his condition was not available but he was listed as "stable," police said.

The shooting might have been gang-related, a police source said.

• At 11:27 p.m. Monday, a 25-year-old man was shot in South Deering, police said. The man was walking on the sidewalk in the 10600 block of South Yates Avenue when someone walked up to him and fired shots.

The man was hit in his abdomen and back. He was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in serious condition, police said.

• At 10:58 p.m., a 21-year-old man was shot in Englewood, police said. The man was standing outside in the 7200 block of South Halsted Street when three people fired shots at him from across the street.

The man was hit in his buttocks and he was taken to Stroger Hospital in good condition, police said. The attackers ran away.

The shooting might have been gang-related, a police source said.

• At 8:08 p.m., a 25-year-old man was shot in Garfield Park, police said. The man was sitting on a porch in the 3000 block of West Walnut Street when someone in a car fired shots.

The man was hit in his buttocks and he was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in good condition, police said.

The shooting might have been gang-related, a police source said.

• At 3:15 p.m., a 54-year-old man was shot in Garfield Ridge, police said. The man was standing outside in the 4400 block of South LeClaire Avenue when several people walked up to him and fired shots.

The man was hit in his right leg. He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where his condition was not available but he was listed as "stable," police said.

No one was in custody in these shootings.
