CHICAGO — A 28-year-old man was shot dead in Bridgeport on Monday night, police said.
At 11:34 p.m., the man was standing on the sidewalk in the 2900 block of South Arch Street when someone fired shots, police said.
The man was hit and he was taken to Stroger Hospital, police said.
Joshua Rayborn, of the same block where he was shot, was pronounced dead at 11:30 p.m., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office.
No one was in custody.
