ARMOUR SQUARE — Fans heading to the White Sox game Sunday will get a free ticket to a game next year, plus the chance for other prizes, the team announced Monday.

Those heading to Guaranteed Rate Field for the 1:10 p.m. contest against the Kansas City Royals will receive a free ticket voucher for an April or May home game as part of "Fan Appreciation Day," according to the team.

The team also will distribute a number of other prizes Sunday, including a 20-person suite for 2018 Opening Day; Beggar's pizza for a year; two round-trip tickets from United Airlines; White Sox memorabilia; and Coca-Cola Bluetooth speakers.

In addition to the giveaways, fans at the game can get discounts, including half-price appetizers at the ChiSox Bar & Grill; buy one item, get one item 50 percent off at the Chicago Sports Depot; and $1 White Sox magazines.

Sunday's game is also the final "family Sunday" of the year, featuring balloon artists, face-painting and kids running the bases. Tickets for those games are as low as $5 for select upper-level tickets and $15 for some lower-level tickets.

The final Sox home game of the season will be on Sept. 28.
