DOWNTOWN — Get your weekend fun in before Sunday: Rain could hit then.

The weekend will be warmer than normal and sunny until Sunday, when there's a chance for rain and thunderstorms, said Amy Seeley, a National Weather Service meteorologist.

Friday will see temperatures in the low 80s, Seeley said. The day will be sunny and the sky clear.

Saturday will be even warmer, with temperatures hitting the mid-80s, Seeley said. The day will start with sun but the sky will get cloudier as the day goes on.

Temperatures will drop to the low 80s on Sunday. The sky will be mostly cloudy with a chance of rain and thunderstorms all day, Seeley said.

The normal temperature for this time of year is 76 degrees, Seeley said.
