CHICAGO — Shootings have wounded nine people since Tuesday morning, police said.

• At 4:21 a.m. Wednesday, a 44-year-old man was shot in a drive-by in West Humboldt Park.

• At 1:05 a.m., a 24-year-old woman was shot in her face while standing outside in Humboldt Park.

• At 10:10 p.m. Tuesday, three people were shot in Englewood during a robbery. The shooter opened fire on the victims after they had handed over their belongings.

• At 8:45 p.m., a 24-year-old man was shot in Austin, police said. The man was driving in the 1100 block of North Cicero Avenue when he stopped at a traffic light. Another car pulled alongside him and someone in that car fired shots at the man.

The man was hit in his left thigh and he took himself to Norwegian American Hospital, where his condition was not available but he was listed as "stable," police said.

• At 7:50 p.m., a 32-year-old man was shot in South Chicago, police said. The man was a passenger in a minivan driving in the 9000 block of South Escanaba Avenue when someone fired shots at the car.

The man was hit in his left leg and he took himself to Trinity Hospital. His condition was not available but he was listed as "stable," police said.

The man was uncooperative with investigators, a police source said.

• At 6 p.m., a 33-year-old man was shot in West Englewood, police said. The man was driving in the 7200 block of South Winchester Avenue when someone walked up to his car and fired shots.

The man was hit in his left shoulder and he was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in good condition, police said.

The man is a documented gang member, a police source said.

• At 11:30 a.m., a 26-year-old man was shot in Englewood, police said. The man was walking in the 1100 block of West 56th Street when a black-colored car dove by and someone in the car fired shots.

The man was hit in his right leg and he was taken to St. Bernard Hospital, where his condition was not available but he was listed as "stable," police said.

No one was in custody in these shootings.
