CHICAGO — An 18-year-old man died after being shot in Humboldt Park on Saturday night, police said.
At 7:09 p.m., the man was in the 3300 block of West Potomac Avenue when someone walked up to him and fired shots shots, police said.
The man was hit in his head and he was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in critical condition, police said.
Adrian Lopez, of the 6200 block of North Claremont Avenue, was pronounced dead at 2:06 p.m. Sunday, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office.
No one was in custody.
