CHICAGO — Workers at a truck yard found a badly decomposed human body inside a semitrailer in Brighton Park on Wednesday, police said.
At 10:10 a.m., the workers found the person's body in the trailer in the 2000 block of West 43rd Street, police said. The body was "in a severe state of decomposition," police said.
Because of the decomposition, investigators were unable to determine whether the person was a man or woman or what the person had died from, police said.
The case is being treated as a death investigation.
