WICKER PARK — Subterranean, known for hosting music shows, on Wednesday will transform its upper level into a runway fashion event and pop-up boutique.

"We designed 20 new runway looks for this show," said Anastasia Chatzka, a clothing designer who operates a sewing studio and retail boutique, Anastasia, at 1001 N. Damen Ave. in Ukrainian Village.

Door are set to open at 8 p.m. Wednesday in Subterranean, 2011 W. North Ave, and the show, kicking off at 10 p.m., will feature an array of weekend party outfits and formal wear designed by Chatzka.

Chatzka says the clothing modeled will be "a little more extra fun, feminine, whimsical, flirty and dreamy" as compared to other items from her boutique.

Local bands will play before and after the runway show and provide music throughout the event.

Tickets to the show and pop-up store are $8 and can be bought online or at the club's door.
