CHICAGO — Three shootings within two blocks left four people wounded Sunday night in Austin, police said.

• At 8:03 p.m., a 26-year-old man was in the 5600 block of West Madison Street when he was shot in his abdomen, police said.

The man was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in critical condition, police said.

No further information was immediately available.

• At 6 p.m., a 22-year-old man and 19-year-old man were sitting on a front porch in the 5400 block of West Madison Street when a car drove up and someone inside the car fired shots, police said.

The 19-year-old was hit in the right side of his chest and he was taken to Stroger Hospital in critical condition. The 22-year-old was hit in his left calf and he was taken to Loyola Medical Center, where his condition was not available but he was listed as "stable," police said.

• At 5:55 p.m., a 20-year-old man was in the 5600 block of West Madison Street when he was shot in his leg and ankle, police said.

The man was taken to Loyola Medical Center, where his condition was not available but he was listed as "stable," police said.

No one was in custody in these shootings.
