Aaron Clemons, 21, Shot Dead In West Englewood; Man Wounded

CHICAGO — A 22-year-old man was killed and a 23-year-old man wounded in a shooting in West Englewood on Sunday morning, police said.

At 1:25 a.m., the 23-year-old was standing with a group of people in the 7000 block of South Paulina Street when a car pulled up and someone inside fired shots, police said.

The 23-year-old was hit multiple times and he was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in critical condition, police said.

A 22-year-old man was also hit multiple times and he was taken to St. Bernard Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said.

Aaron Clemons, of the 2800 block of West 84th Place, was pronounced dead at 2:19 a.m., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office. An autopsy showed he died from multiple gunshot wounds in a homicide.

No one was in custody.
