CHICAGO — The Chicago Police Department's bomb squad helped investigate a semi that pulled into an unauthorized area at O'Hare Airport early Friday.

At 3:50 a.m., the semi-tractor with an attached trailer parked in an area on the upper level of Terminal 3 at the airport, police said. Officers couldn't find the truck's driver.

The truck was removed without any problems, police said, but the bomb squad was called in to assist "as a precautionary measure."

Terminal 3 was not impacted by the incident, police said.
