CHICAGO — A 25-year-old man was shot in Bridgeport on Friday, police said.
At 11:55 a.m., the man was driving in the 1100 block of West 31st Street when a man in a car pulled alongside him, took out a gun and fired shots, police said.
The man was hit in his upper left thigh, and he drove himself to Stroger Hospital, where his condition was not available but he was listed as "stable," police said.
The attacker was in a black, two-door car and was going east on 31st Street, police said.
No one was in custody.
