CHICAGO — A 23-year-old man was shot to death by a man on a bicycle in Ashburn on Tuesday, police said.
At 2:25 p.m., the 23-year-old was standing outside in the 7800 block of South Homan Avenue when someone on a light-colored bicycle fired shots at him, police said.
The man was hit five times and he was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead, police said.
The man was identified as Stefan Slater, of the 3500 block of West 78th Place, in Cook County Medical Examiner's Office records. Slater was pronounced dead at 3:03 p.m. and an autopsy showed he died from multiple gunshot wounds in a homicide.
The attacker rode off and no one was in custody.
